- Small businesses are low-hanging fruit because they don’t believe they are a target, and therefore have very loose or no security systems and protocols in place.
- Half of all cyber-attacks are aimed at SMBs. (Forbes, “5 Ways Small Businesses Can Protect Against Cybercrime”)
Cybersecurity Expert Special Guest Speaker
Kevin Fream, Matrixforce CEO and best-selling author of Easy Prey and Streamlining Technology will be the special guest speaker with business tips presented at Microsoft, Nasdaq, and Harvard.
The Chairman of the US Homeland Security Committee, Michael McCaul, recently stated, “I’m going to be honest. We’re in the fight of our digital lives, and we are not winning.” But, as Mr. Fream will explain, your business doesn’t need to be one of the losers. His presentations will cover the 7 most critical IT security protections every business must have in place now to protect themselves from cybercrime, data breaches and hacker attacks
It’s a message Fream has been delivering across the United States most of this year. He’s appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox News stations across the nation to help viewers avoid becoming victims of the ransomware and identity theft epidemic. He recently delivered an address to the Harvard Club of Boston where he received the Cyberist of the Year Award.
